Most of digishakti.info is about DigiShakti and the UP free tablet scheme. The blog is a little broader, though. It runs guest articles on all sorts of subjects, and this page explains how to send one in.
Topics we accept
To give you an idea, recent guest articles have looked at financial losses after a dog attack, how to structure a PPC campaign, and baking a potato in the microwave. So other topics are welcome, as long as an ordinary reader can actually use what you write. And if you know the DigiShakti process inside out, we’d love a guide for students or college staff.
Guidelines
Send us original work that hasn’t appeared anywhere else, your own blog included. Somewhere between 800 and 1,500 words is a good target, but let the topic decide. Write the way you’d explain it to a friend, and leave the sales pitch out.
You can put up to two relevant links in the body of the article, plus one in your author bio, which is the place for your own website or social profile. Only send images you’re allowed to use, with credit where it’s due. We may add or swap images ourselves.
Include a short author bio, two or three sentences with one link, and a photo if you like. Send the article as a Google Doc or a Word file, or paste it into the email. Headings and short paragraphs make it much easier to read.
How to send your article
Email the article, or a short pitch, to:

Use the subject line “Guest Post Submission: [your title]”. In the email, add your full name, a short bio and the article or pitch.
What happens next
You’ll hear back within 5 to 7 business days. Nothing by then? Feel free to follow up. We may tidy the grammar, change the headline or adjust the formatting to suit the site, and we choose when the article goes live.
